Parent Association
Welcome to the Marlborough Primary School Parent Association (PA)
We are excited to announce the relaunch of the Marlborough Primary School Parent Association (PA). We are looking for a committed group of parents and carers to work together to support and enrich the school community. With fresh ideas and new opportunities for involvement, we aim to create a positive and inclusive environment for all, while raising vital funds that directly benefit our children and brings our school community together.
Through the PA, we can help provide exciting resources, school trips, and learning experiences that make a lasting impact. Whether you are a regular volunteer at the school or looking to get involved for the first time, we need your support to achieve these goals. Together, we can make Marlborough Primary an even more vibrant place for our children to grow and thrive.
We invite you to be part of this exciting new chapter—your involvement is key to our success!
Our School Champion
We are proud to have Helen Stringer as our School Champion. The School Champion acts as a key link between the PA and the school, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure that PA initiatives are aligned with the school’s needs.

As a member of Parentkind, the UK’s leading network for Parent Associations, we benefit from expert advice, resources, and support. This enables us to run the PA effectively, ensuring transparency and collaboration with parents, carers, and the school. You can learn more about Parentkind here.

Inspiring Fundraising Ideas
At Marlborough Primary School, fundraising will be an exciting and rewarding way for parents to make a difference. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, directly benefits our children—whether it’s for new equipment, enriching school trips, or inspiring learning experiences. We want to spark new ideas and encourage everyone to get involved!
Here are some potential fundraising initiatives to inspire you:
-
Second-hand Uniform Sales
Why not clear out old uniforms and support the school? Donate or purchase gently used school uniforms at one of our sales. It’s a fantastic way to save money, reduce waste, and promote sustainability—all while raising funds for important school projects. -
Bake Sales
In the past our regular bake sales were a hit with both parents and children. Who doesn’t love homemade treats? By baking and buying, you help raise funds that go directly towards enhancing school life. Keep an eye on the dates and get your apron ready -
Sponsored Walk/Run
Maybe planning a fun, community-driven sponsored walk or run. It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to get involved and raise money through sponsorships from friends and relatives. It’s a healthy way to support the school—more details coming soon -
Raffle Events
In the past our raffles have always been a highlight at school events. With amazing prizes generously donated by local businesses, it’s a fun and easy way to contribute while having a chance to win something special -
Online Fundraising Platforms
Did you know you can support the school simply by shopping online? Where a percentage of your purchases will be donated directly to the PA efforts. It’s a convenient way to give back without even leaving your home.
These are just a few ideas, but we are always looking for fresh inspiration and would love to hear your thoughts. Whether you have an idea for a new fundraiser or would like to lend a hand with one of our existing events, your support is invaluable. Together, we can make a real difference for our children
